800–1000 g shell-on prawns – allow approx. 200–250 g per person

50 ml garlic oil

1 red chili

Coarse salt

Coriander

Lemon or lime

Bamboo skewers.

Pour the garlic oil into a bowl and add finely chopped chili. Peel the defrosted prawns, pat dry and distribute on bamboo skewers. Do not pack them too close together.

Lightly oil the shell-on prawns and grill briefly on a garden barbecue (or griddle). Before removing them from the grill, brush with the garlic oil.

Keep the skewers warm as they finish cooking, and lastly sprinkle with plenty of coarse salt.

Serve the skewers with lemon or lime, fresh coriander and wholemeal bread.

800-1000 g rejer med skal - beregn ca. 200- 250 g pr person

0.5 dl. hvidløgsolie

1 rød chili

Groft salt

Koriander

Citroner eller lime

Bambusgrillpinde

Hæld hvidløgsolien i en skål og kom fintsnittet chili i. De optøede skalrejer skylles, tørres og fordeles på bambusgrillpinde. Ikke for tætsiddende.

Smør lidt olie på skalrejerne og grill kort på havegrillen (eller grillpande). Før de tages af grillen, pensles de med hvidløgsolien.

Spiddene holdes varme, efterhånden som de steges, og drysses til sidst med rigeligt groft salt.

Server spiddene med citron eller lime, frisk koriander og groft brød.
